‘Otago exercise programme’ (OEP) is a strength and balance retraining programme designed to prevent falls in older people living in the community.

  • To provide an understanding of the rationale behind the OEP design, service implementation, and the principles of exercise programming and the guidelines for leading exercise for frailer older people in group settings.
  • To provide the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to deliver the OEP safely and effectively to frailer older people with a high risk, or history of falls, and to understand the differing skills and qualifications required for implementing the programme.
  • To provide information about the health and falls prevention benefits of exercise and the impact of falls on older people.

For ages 4-13.

Every Monday from 5pm to 630pm 

This is a FREE club 😀

There is a sign up sheet at the door. Prizes will be given for attendance but there is no pressure to come every week.

There will be games, singing, bible stories, quizes and a healthy snack!!

There will also be two outings a year to somewhere fun and two parties for Christmas and Easter.
