The Upper Bonet is one of 10 catchments in County Leitrim which have been prioritised to protect and restore water quality. The priority area for action includes Glenade Lake, the Shanvaus river and the Bonet river flows from the townland of Glebe to Ballyglass. The Bonet River is part of the larger Sligo Bay & Drowse catchment.
You are invited to a community meeting about what it means to be a part of an area for action. This is a new way of working to improve water quality and everyone is welcome to come along and find out what each person can do!
