Centre Manager – Gerry Creamer

Gerard Creamer Manager Beepark Coummity CentreGerry Creamer has managed the Bee Park Community centre for the past ten years, and together with the support of an active and vibrant Board, two caretakers and our Administrator has seen the Centre grow and develop to serve Manorhamilton and the North Leitrim area.

Ambitions

His Family have being involved in the Community life of Leitrim for generations and it is this passion for the betterment of Community and individuals he brings to his work in the Bee Park Centre.

Hobbies and Interests

He is past member and Officer of Ballinamore Sean O Heslin’s GAA Club, and a past Chairman and Secretary, and current PRO, of Drumcliffe-Rosses Point GAA Club reflecting his life-long commitment to the GAA. He has with a group of like-minded people established the Manorhamilton and District Historical Society which is gathering and archiving local history and heritage. Gerry is a Member of North Leitrim Tourism Network. He is a Committee member of St Patrick’s Day Parade Manorhamilton, And Christmas Lights Committee; he is also PRO of Manorhamilton Tidy Towns Committee.

Statutory experience

Gerry served on the Board of Management of Rosses Point National School for twelve years as a Parents Representative, and latterly as a Patron’s nominee. He is also a past member of Sligo Community and Voluntary Forum whom he represented on Sligo County Council Strategic Policy Committee for Housing Policy, Social and Cultural Development. He served on Sligo/Leitrim Better Mental Health Working Group 2006-2007.
